Traffic Lawyers of Texas (TLOT) is the statewide professional association for defense attorneys who represent clients in municipal and justice courts. Since 1992, TLOT has helped Texas lawyers strengthen their practices through practical legal education, statewide collaboration, shared resources, and legislative advocacy.

Our members exchange knowledge and strategies, receive municipal-court-focused CLE, gain access to an extensive members-only resource library, and stay informed about developments affecting traffic and other Class C misdemeanor cases. TLOT also advocates before the Texas Legislature for fair laws and procedures that protect defendants and the attorneys who represent them.
